Thy Kingdom Come - Nottingham Online Gathering

Thy Kingdom Come Nottingham, night of prayer and worship, is back!

This is the main united church gathering in Nottingham during this year’s Thy Kingdom Come global wave of prayer from 12th - 23rd May 2021.

In previous years we’ve seen over 1400 Christians from all denominations, cultures, ethnicities and ages in Nottingham unite in a powerful evening.

Join us this year at a key time for our city as we emerge from lockdown.

We’ll rejoice together at all that God has done during this testing Covid season…

…and we’ll pray expectantly for all He desires to do as we emerge from it.

You can either join the Zoom meeting to join in the breakout rooms using the details below…

This year’s theme is “One Church, No Borders”. We are a united Church and as we emerge from lockdown we believe the Lord wants to remind us that there are no limits for us as His church – not even the gates of hell can prevail against us!

The following verses from Haggai 2:6-9 will shape our prayers on the night:

For this is what the LORD of Hosts says:
“Once more, in a little while,
I will shake the heavens and the earth,
the sea and the dry land.
I will shake all the nations,
and they will come with all their treasures,
and I will fill this house with glory,
says the LORD of Hosts.
The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,
declares the LORD of Hosts.
The latter glory of this house
will be greater than the former,
says the LORD of Hosts.
And in this place I will provide peace,
declares the LORD of Hosts.”

We will be praying in power as united church for greater things to be done in this city, for the Kingdom to come in greater measure, and for greater numbers of people to come to know him.

We are not going back to normal, but going on to greater things in Him!

As always, we will be worshipping and praying in many different ways that celebrate and honour the diversity of worship styles and traditions that exist in the Church across Nottinghamshire.

We’ll have the privilege of being led in prayer by people from a range of denominations and being led in sung worship by musicians from multiple churches and ethnic cultures.

Come prepared to worship and pray, and come expectant of what God will do in answer to prayer!
