Prophetic journey for 2023

There was a particularly poignant moment during the major gathering for Thy Kingdom Come in 2022, where people called to God in many languages, representing the diverse nature of our city. We recognise that God is bringing the nations to Nottingham - that the diversity is beautiful, and something that the Church needs to embrace and develop, as we continue to be a light to the city. In 2023, we continue to see the international nature of the development and growth of the Church in Nottingham - we continue to focus here.

This year we’re seeing a greater ache and longing developing in the Church - it’s not enough to ask God for a little water to maybe grow a few flowers that will hide the barren wasteland - we want to see a flood that will change the landscape forever - a vast river teeming with life, and filled with all sorts of fish!

We lean in as we long for more …

Prophetic journey for 2022

During our gatherings this year, we’re being presented with an invitation - to return to the activities of ‘first love’ and to choose the ‘one thing that is needed’ as Mary did at Bethany. This invitation probably requires us to turn around some of our activity - it certainly requires us to take careful stock of our lives. The invitation also comes with a great sense of promise - IF we choose well, not only does our choice simply do us good, it will also release great blessing on us and our city from the hand of God.

Getting around this corner we find ourselves at, requires us to continue to pray with intentionality and fervour - so that we align ourselves with the purposes of God, and are ready to see His glory more fully released in our city.
